Who is a personal employer?
Personal employers, such as a parent employing a childcarer for their child, or a person employing a personal carer, can ask to see an up to date PVG Scheme Membership Statement to confirm that the person is not barred or under consideration for barring.
This can either be a Scheme Membership Statement the applicant has obtained to show to families/clients, or a personal employer can countersign a PVG application and receive a copy of the resultant PVG check certificate.
